A fantastic tool that allows users to track and manage their cellar contents. The sign up is quick and free. The owner of the site does ask for donations, and for what the tool gives you, I think you should! You can submit and read reviews from other users on the tool, and pull all of the reviews specific to your cellar. And since some of its content is in the form of RSS feeds, you can track your cellar anywhere!
This site bills itself as a free service for reviewing, sharing and discovering wine. Pretty straightforward, right? A very popular site that is becoming the go-to destination for the wine community online.
A great online retailer based in New Jersey, they have some of the best prices I've found anywhere and they are really on top of getting the best of what is out there in the wine world. Their actual store is also a treat, massive in size, with a huge temperature-controlled cellar area with some rare finds from California and France.
This is another great retailer based in New Jersey, that has a great selection as well as a good online experience. They too have some of the best prices I've found, a good selection of Bordeaux wines and some great Italian finds. They have three stores in the Northern NJ area and also feature a good selection of cheeses and other specialty foods.
Wine Blogs
A quick list of some of the best wine blogs out there right now.
This is the largest Internet auction for fine and rare wines. All wines auctioned are inspected and stored in a climate-controlled warehouse in Napa, California. They have a weekly online action ending each Sunday at 6pm PST, and featuring anything and everything under the sun that people are trying to sell off. Their site is fun if nothing else to look around and gawk over some of the wines out there.
