Another wine of the night that was really singing! (96 pts.) - Tasted 11/19/2008. [FIND IT!] 2002 Cayuse Syrah Coccinelle Tasted by bajayngo. quick notes from the wine dinner. One of the best noses yet, spices, vibrant, red fruit, huge fan! I thought this was the most complete wine of the night in the fact that everything was exactly in its place. Really was in my top wines of the night!! (96 pts.) - Tasted 11/19/2008. [FIND IT!] 2005 Unti Vineyards Grenache Tasted by caboychuck. Black as night. Nose was really strange at first with some chemical type aromas. Once it opened the nose showed dark fruit skin, smokey, meaty and black fruit. On the palate it is rustic, with flavors that mimic the nose, meaty, smokey and black fruit. Day 2 was much nicer. Almost a wow with the same flavors, and a nice balance and terrific finish.
